Vodafone India launched its new vodafone internet services, vodafone supernet 4g services launched over 17 circles on Wednesday. The Vodafone supernet will be available in more than 2400 towns across the county by March ,2017. Vodafone supernet 4g services will be a turning point to the vodafone 4g, so that high speed 4g internet can be available at very cheap rates.
The circles that received supernet 4g services include Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR, Mumbai, Haryana, UP (east), Gujarat, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Assam, North East, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, UP (west), Odisha and Punjab.
Vodafone india managing director and vodafone india CEO Sunil Sood said that "These 17 circles cover 91% of Vodafone India’s total revenues and 95% of mobile data revenues, "
Sunil Sood added that Vodafone has partnered with global technology infrastructure service providers and has enabled aggressive network rollout in terms of pace and scale of deployment."We rolled out one 4G site every 10-minutes in the last 2-months. In each circle, we are aggressively growing our 4G footprintby adding new towns daily. This pace of 4G rollout will be maintained to cover a wider geography in line with evolving customer needs", added Sood.
Vodafone India and idea cellular 4g is working hard to take down the Mukesh Ambani's Reliance jio 4g services. This point out there will be tight competition between these telecos.
