Even as confusion over the One Plus 3 sale on Flipkart continues, the smartphone has been listed as ‘Out of Stock’ on the e-commerce platform. The confusion ensued as Flipkart listed the one plus 3 for Rs 18,999, almost Rs 9,000 less than its original price of Rs 27,999. OnePlus 3 happens to be Amazon exclusive.
OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei in a tweet tagged Flipkart’s Executive Chairman Sachin Bansal, and said the company has an exclusive tie-up with Amazon india. The tweet reads, “.@_sachinbansal brother, what’s this? We’re exclusive with @amazonIN”

OnePlus then sent out a press statement reiterating their partnership with Amazon India, advising customers to purchase the device from official channels saying ‘we cannot guarantee the authenticity of the products sold elsewhere. Flipkart’s OnePlus 3 discount was supposed to be live until stocks last. However, it seems the phone went out of stock within a minute
OnePlus 3 was recently overshadowed by the launch of OnePlus’s mid cycle flagship upgrade – the OnePlus 3T. The new OnePlus 3T brings slight upgrades over the older phone, which was launched just six months ago.

For a recap, the OnePlus 3 features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor that is coupled with an Adreno 530 GPU. The phone features 6GB of RAM and 64GB of non-expandable storage. OnePlus 3 comes with a 16MP primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture, phase detection auto-focus, LED flash and optical image stabilisation. The front camera is an 8MP shooter also with an f/2.0 aperture. The phone is backed by a non-removable 3000 mAh battery that support Dash Charge.
