Lava X50 Plus comes with 32GB ROM, 2GB RAM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It offers a 5.5” HD IPS display. The phone has a 8MP primary camera and 5MP rear camera both with LED Flash. It has a 2880 mAh Li-Po battery and comes with a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor.
The phone supports 11 Indian languages and is equipped with the ‘Transliterate Feature’ which helps the users in translation of English language in their respective native languages and vice-versa.
A study by Cyber Media Research (CMR) in November pointed out that LAVA is one of the top mobile handsets used in India and has become one of the more popular Indian mobile handset brand in Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and J&K.
There has been a 29% increase in shipment of Lava phones in third quarter of this year taking the number to 7.1 million compared to 5.4 million in last quarter, the study said. Lava is aiming 20 % mobile handset market share by 2018-end.
