Bsnl Going to launch unlimited local/national calling just for 149/month


The best network in india bsnl going to launch a new plan for unlimited all india calls to all networks free for 30 days on recharge of 149 only.

This new monthly unlimited calling pack is expected to launch on January 1 as a newyear gift from bsnl. Reliance jio also given newyear pack till march 31 for free calls and internet. Because of the comming of jio the competition has been more and more tighter. By the launch bsnl's new 149 offer will give a good competition with jio's offers.

Jio already have an similar pack of Rs 149 plan includes unlimited voice calls, 300 MB data and 100 local and national SMS for a 28-day period.

“We are working on a plan to allow unlimited voice calls to mobile subscribers at any network across India at Rs 149 a month,” BSNL chairman Anupam Shrivastava told ET, adding that the plan would also include 300 MB of data.

Because of the tight challenge by reliance jio, the other operators also planning to launch new unlimited voice packs by january 2017.Reliance jio has been extended their welcome offer to march 31 on worlds biggest billionaire mukesh ambani on a press conference held on December 1,2016.

“Jio has come up with disruptive strategy and we are ready to match whatever tariff is being offered by our competitors,” Shrivastava said.

BSNL is also building up capacity to accommodate voice traffic by making use of its underutilised fibre-based broadband network, which consists of nearly 7-lakh route kilometres of fibre across the country. Its existing broadband network serves merely 12 million customers.

By offering unlimited voice calls at Rs 149 a month over its existing broadband network, will also aim to reduce interconnection usage charge (IUC) impact. BSNL’s average revenue per user (ARPU) is Rs 88 per month.
