Reliance jio added a new data saving feature to its music app, jio music to save data on browsing. You can now browse at high speed and get all the latest song with a less data. The application shows a pop-up every time one tries to take a song offline, the pop-up reads ‘During 2 to 5 AM, enjoy download at ZERO data charges.
There are 2 options added where you can set reminder to download automatically during the free hours from 2am to 5 am. So you can select from the 2 option to download the music- Download at Night and Download Now.
But for the automatic download feature the phone to have at least 20% battery and the mobile data turned on, to be able to download songs at night. JioMusic has over one crore songs to offer.
According to a recent report by TRAI, Reliance Jio’s average data download speed rose to 18.17 Mbps in December, almost twice that of closest rival Vodafone, putting the new entrant at the top of the pack within months of its commercial launch, according to the telecom regulator.
