Earlier on this week trai asked Reliance jio about the the new year offer which is a extension of the welcome offer which provides all users free voice and internet data. Airtel on last week complaints about the extention of welcome offers given by the Reliance jio. On the behalf of this complaint the trai asked jio for the explanation.
Now Reliance jio has asked 2 days time till December 29 to asnwer this question by trai. Trai also asked to give an estimated reports of the month wise added subscriber's to jio.
Also Reliance jio commented previously about the new year offer, The new year offer is different from the welcome offer. Welcome provides 4gb of data and now in the new year offer its only 1gb of data per day and there is also plans to recharge and renew the daily limit of the free data in the new year offer.
Anyway at present the new year offer is not seem to be a violation of the rules and we hope there will not be any problem with the New year offer. We should wait till December 29 to get more info on welcome offer. We also understand that other networks are jealous of Reliance jio and they are trying to destroy Reliance jio like Airtel.
